Here we go. Right about now my decision-making disorder is sinking its teeth in deep, shaking me around like limp meat. I was hoping this new cover version would seal the deal one way or the other.
But I'm crippled.

I suggest the , uh, November (that's the tan-colored one?). Truly while the red (brick) indicates, many things like sexy, faster, sinister, the November cover is united in theme, and 'unity' for covers is what you really want.
Besides, if I'm right, the Brick -colored cover has 'pink'....

I agree, november. It carries the candle color through the cover.
I'd buy this book without a cover - I'd buy it one word at a time, that's how this album has affected me over the years.
But the "November" cover works better for me. It brings back that day in December 1988, taking the bus 3 miles past my house to a little secondhand record store (Breakdown Records, Bayside, Queens) to get this.

I'm probably too late to weigh in, but just in case I'll put forth my argument for the red.... b/c although I agree with the other commenters in theory, as your publicist I'm like the red one b/c it increases your visibility on a shelf. And I want your book to be as visible as possible, since I know from experience trying to find the 33 1/3s in stores big and small that they're generally shelved individually by author in the music section (instead with other books in the series) and they're small, so they get lost. It's much easier to find the brightly colored ones.
